Prior to his retirement in 1995, Mr. De Werth served as the Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of CIBC Wood Gundy Private Client Investments Inc. CIBC Wood Gundy is recognized as one of Canada's pre-eminent investment and banking firms.
Since his retirement, Mr. De Werth has become an active investor and board member in several technology companies.
Mike Hagerman received his Ivey MBA in 1972.
Since then Mike’s career has included positions as President of Uniglobe Travel from 1980-1988, as Managing Director of Deak International, and as President of Primerica Canada.
In 1999, Mike came to Vancouver as Managing Director of Goepel McDermid. Today he is Chairman of Make Technologies, Advise Verrus and Qtrade, and the Founder and CEO of DirectorsEdge Inc.
Since 2000, Scott White has served as the Chief Executive Officer of Parlay Entertainment Inc. (PEI:TSXV).
Prior to that time, Mr. White was engaged as a lawyer in the Province of Ontario, practicing in the areas of corporate/commercial law, administrative law and business law where he serviced a multinational, primarily corporate client base.
In addition to practicing law, Mr. White has been involved in a number of private and public enterprises as a director, officer and shareholder. Mr. White is a founding shareholder of Parlay Entertainment Inc., Frontenac Ventures Inc., Campbellville Partners Inc. and the founding partner of Bush Frankel White Barristers & Solicitors.
Mr. de Werth has a Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Western Ontario and began his career in the fixed income markets in 2000 with TD Securities in London, England trading emerging market and Dollar Bloc Debt products.
In 2002 Mr. de Werth relocated to Toronto to help TD improve its North American distribution of international fixed income product, and in 2004 moved to New York to spearhead the creation of a US distribution hub for TD Securities USA LLC.
Some additional examples of his US institutional clients include PIMCO, The World Bank, Inter-American Development Bank, Alliance Bernstein, Fidelity, Blackrock, and Prudential. Together, these companies represent some of the largest asset managers in the United States, and the world.
