Technical Presales Consultant

hyperWALLET Systems, a market-leading provider of financial technology and enterprise payment solutions, is seeking an experienced Technical Presales Consultant to join our sales and business development team. In this challenging role, the successful candidate will be the main technical lead that will support the sales team on key market pursuits. 

With your deep payments industry knowledge and technical expertise you will analyze and map the business requirements of your customers, develop value-based solutions that best address their complex payments-related needs, and strategically leverage the hyperWALLET payment platform and related services while maximizing sales opportunities for the company.

You will become the customer’s trusted technical payments advisor, and work with all departments internally to support overall sales effort.


Responsibilities:

The Technical Presales Consultant role draws upon extensive knowledge of payment technologies and services, customer business environments, competitor products and services, communication techniques, and project management abilities including:

  • Leading or participating as the hyperWALLET product expert in various sales presentations to medium - large sized prospects.
  • Responding to the more complex technical or functional queries from the sales function relative to customer/prospect requirements.
  • Taking the lead in responding to RFPs and RFIs in conjunction with the sales function, to showcase hyperWALLET’s total product and service offerings.
  • Present and articulate product features and benefits, product future direction and overall solutions from hyperWALLET to internal and external customers.
  • Act as an interface between hyperWALLET and the customer, responding to often highly complex user requirements and payments-related solution requirements.
  • Remain current on product capabilities and research, evaluate and report on competitor product and service offerings as well as emerging technologies.


Education and Qualifications:

  • 3-5 years experience in sales consulting roles of increasing responsibility and complexity.
  • Experience in enterprise applications, technologies, or payments-related backgrounds
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills
  • Demonstrable pre-sales consulting experience supporting the sale of enterprise solutions
  • A University degree, or College diploma
  • Ability to travel
  • Team player


Salary

Salary is competitive and commensurate with qualifications.
